He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy McElhaney (Luttrell) and Harold McElhaney; his wife Phyllis Gray; his daughter Lesa J. McElhaney; his brothers, James L. and Harold N. McElhaney (Mack); and his siblings-in-law, Gloria McElhaney, Hazel Cunningham and Jack Cunningham.
He is survived by: his children, Amy G. McElhaney of Yardley, PA, Georgeann C. McElhaney of Lakewood, CO, Phillip J. McElhaney (Susan) of Kamuela, HI and Tomas M. McElhaney (Wendy) of Ripton, VT; his grandchildren, Sarah R Micklas, Malachi, Nathaniel Hemmert, Yanmei McElhaney, George Cote, Dylan, Eryn Smith and Hannah Osborne; his nieces, Cheryl Hulick (Cunningham), Shauna Reichard (Cunningham), Mary Lynne and Kellie McElhaney; and his nephew Jeff McElhaney. He is also survived by his many great-grandchildren.
