He was predeceased by: his parents, Lt. Commander Leo C. Hester and Christine Hester; and his siblings, Leo C. Hester, Jr. and Carol Myers. He is survived by: his sister Geraldine; and his brothers-in-law, Sam Augustine and Ronnie Myers. He is also survived by 29 nieces and nephews.
