He was predeceased by: his spouse Ruth Silcox Melchiondo; his daughter Melissa Melchiondo; his stepfather Martin Galullo; his brothers, Louis Sr and Michael Melchiondo, Sr.; and his stepbrother John Galullo.
He is survived by: his sister Anne Szymanski of California; his stepbrothers, Raymond and Alphonse Galullo (Maria) of Hamilton, NJ; his daughters, Merilee Arbitell of Newtown, PA, Michele Vivian (Greg Doran) of Manchester, MA and Toni Coleman (Greg) of Cranbury, NJ; his grandchildren, Richard Arbitell (Marie) of Newtown, PA, Michael Arbitell (Lisa) of Allentown, NJ, Anthony Christopher, Samantha Vivian of Boston, MA and Thomas Coleman of Cranbury, NJ; and his great grandchildren, Courtney and Grace Arbitell of Allentown, NJ. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
