He was predeceased by: his parents, Miles B. Hitchcock and Jennie Rose Hotaling Hitchcock; his son David Duane "Zeke" Hitchcock; his siblings, Bertha Hitchcock and Herbert Hitchcock; and his siblings-in-law, Delores Hitchcock and Kenneth King.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Kneller; his children, Paula Donovan (David), Sandra Cook (Gary) and Dale Hitchcock (Jacey); his brother Lewis Hitchcock; and his sister-in-law Madeline King.
The family suggests that bequests be directed to Wysox Prebyterian Church or charity of one's choice in memory of Paul D Hitchcock.
