With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia Elaine Stanton Grimes of Wysox, Pennsylvania, born in Sayre, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Stanton and Vanona Woodruff Stanton; her daughter Judith Beach; her stepfather Daniel Reidy; her siblings, Henry Stanton and Marian Brown; and her son-in-law Roger Chilson.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Paul Grimes; her children, Michele Marean (Robert) of Wysox Township, Steven Grimes (Rhonda), Lori Crispell (Randy) of Wysox, Ralph Grimes (Denise) of Wysox and Robert Grimes II; and her sister Nancy Hoffmann (Ted).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that bequests be directed to the Guthrie Towanda Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit Resident Activities Fund, 91 Hospital Drive, Towanda, PA 18848 in memory of Patricia Elaine Stanton Grimes.
