He is survived by: his children, Jesika Harkness (David Gardner) of Bluefield, WV, Jodi Wolfrod (Danny) of Wysox, Jami Mitchell (Tim) of Pocahontas, WV and Jameson Harkness of Towanda; his grandchildren, Tyson David Gardner, Reese Cobain Gardner, Liam Mitchell, Aryan Mitchell and Sadie Mitchell; his father James D. Harkness Sr.; his stepmother Patricia Harkness of Orwell; his brothers, Robert Harkness (Tammy) of Standing Stone and John Harkness (Becky) of North Orwell; his half-sister Dawn Childress of Wysox; and his stepsiblings, James Leighton (Diane Dexter) of Wysox, Tim Leighton (Tammy) of LeRaysville, Jeff Leighton (Shelly) of LeRaysville, Tina Comstock (David) of Wysox and Lisa Bishop (Mike Goodenow) of Chester, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
