It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary S. Sumner of Wysox, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bird (Helen Sumner) and Gary. He is survived by: his wife Frederica "Mike" Sumner; his son Steven; his daughter-in-law Melanie Sumner; his children, Jeffrey Sumner and Amy Sumner (Amy Erwin); his grandchildren, Aubrey Sumner (Steven Greer) and Jesse Sumner; his sisters, Sylvia Gray and Beth Sumner; and his brother-in-law L. J. Kopf. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Gary's name to Guthrie Hospice, 421Tomahawk Road, Towanda, PA 18848.
