It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Kontaxes of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, born in Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 22, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Nicholas Kontaxes; her parents, Michael Architas and Stamatia Architas (Maroulakeli); and her grandson Stephen Copeland. She is survived by: her children, Athena Wagner (Richard), Katherine Kunkelman (Gary), Cynthia Richart (Stephen) and Michael P. Kontaxes (Grace); her grandchildren, Stephanie Mitchell (Kyran), Melissa VanArsdale (Thomas), Matthew Kunkelman (Jacquelyn), Alexandria Richart (Aaron Coble) and Andrew Richart (Melissa); and her great grandchildren, Kyran, Stephen, Cali, Nicholas, Joseph, Sophia, Oliver, Leo and Evan.
