She was predeceased by: her husband Howard O. Beaver, Jr.; and her parents, Arthur Shollenberger and Ellen Shollenberger (Adams). She is survived by: her children, Bonne J. Riefenstahl (James E. Riefenstahl) of Oley and Thomas A. Beaver (Cathy A. Beaver) of Hilton Head; her grandchildren, James Riefenstahl (Marci Riefenstahl), Gregg Riefenstahl (Rebecca Riefenstahl), Matthew Riefenstahl (Monica Riefenstahl), Andrew Beaver and Caitlin Beaver; and her great grandchildren, Lauren, Luke, James, Evan, Leah and Matthew Riefenstahl.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Penn State Berks 1801 Broadcasting Road, Wyomissing, PA 19610 in memory of Jean S. Beaver to support the activities of the Beaver Athletics and Wellness Center.
