With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Hughes of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 9, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hughes and Catherine Hughes (Boughter); and his sister Maria Souders. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hughes (Weyandt); and his daughter Jennifer Hughes (Kenneth Cline) of Bar Harbor. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Road Birdsboro PA 19508.
