We are sad to announce that on July 7, 2021, at the age of 78, Daniel Nelis (Wyomissing, Pennsylvania), born in Reading, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. and Sarah; and his siblings, Roseanne (Lacey), MaryEllen (Silverstein), Carol (Dodson) and Thomas.

He is survived by: his wife MaryBeth (Steingraber) of Wyomissing; his daughters, Bridget (Bryan Finkel) and Maggie (James Arentz); his grandchildren, Catherine, Maureen, Cassidy and Patrick (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Caitlyn and Cooper; his grandson Christopher (Alaina); and his great grandchildren, Oliver and Annabelle. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers friends may make memorial contributions to St. Ignatius Loyola Memorial Society at stignatiusreading.org, the McGlinn Cancer Institute at readinghospitalfoundation.org , and/or Heartland Hospice at 2201 Ridgewood Rd., Suite 180, Wyomissing, PA.19610.
