It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janis Lynn Cannon (Wyoming, Pennsylvania), born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 21, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald J. Alward and Marilyn Townsend Alward; and her grandparents, Mary and George Alward. She is survived by: her husband Harold E. Cannon; and her siblings, Donald, William, James, Jerome, Stephen Alward (Bonnie), Susan Stempien (Don), Bonnie Cawley (Larry), JoAnn Schick (Arnold) and Dori. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the First Baptist Church of Wyoming at 52 E. 8th Street, Wyoming, PA, 18644, or to the SPCA of Luzerne County.
