Eleanor H. Brislin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor H. Brislin (Wyoming, Pennsylvania), who passed away on July 6, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John E. Brislin; her parents, John Garshell and Anna Garshell (Havrilla); her son Thomas P. Brislin; and her siblings, Mary Houser, Paul and Thomas Richard Garshell.
She is survived by: her children, John (Marion), Timothy, Joseph, Robert, Mary Beth Brislin and Ann Marie Zapotocky (Larry); her grandchildren, Bethany, Joseph, Mitchell Brislin, Kelly DeBalko (Nathan), Renee Haase, Larry, Tommy and Danny Zapotocky; her great grandchildren, AJ Haase, Olivia and Emma DeBalko; and her siblings, Leona Martin, Dorothy Hess, Ann Fedor, John Garshell, Elizabeth Padgett, Joan Pinarowicz, Francis Garshell, Janet Lakitsky and Kathy Marsiglio. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Donations "In Memory of Eleanor" made to St. Gabriel's Church, C/O Capital Campaign, 122 S. Wyoming St., Hazleton, PA 18201, which will be used to help restore the church, are welcomed by the family.
