It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Haig Geovjian (Wynnewood, Pennsylvania), who passed away on November 29, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Haig Geovjian to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Parnag Geovjian and Shahanik Geovjian; and his wife Barbara Wisniewski. He is survived by: his children, John Haig Geovjian, Elizabeth Gallagher (Charles) and Patricia Mefford (John); his grandchildren, Curtis Gallagher (Madeleine), Amira Gallagher, Faylyn Mefford, Anna Mefford and Jonie Mefford; and his close friend Christine Pinkstone. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Armenian Catholic Church (400 Haverford Rd, Wynnewood, PA 19096). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at the Arlington Cemetery (2900 State Rd, Drexel Hill, PA 19026).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Haig's name be made to St. Sahag & St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church.
