Dickens of Wyncote, Pennsylvania, born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 16, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Dickens; her parents, Matthew Shippen and Dorothy Shippen (Johnson); her children, Harvey B. Henderson, Valerie M. Henderson and Howard Henderson; her grandchildren, Joshua Henderson, Romeo Horton, Shepard "Booga" Horton and Mya Horton; and her siblings, Eddie Bumper Johnson, Dorothea Mosby, Beverley Gains, Brenda Shippen and Theodore.

She is survived by: her siblings, Dorothy Sinkler (Sam) and Ronald Shippen (Lee); her brother-in-law John Mosby; her grandchildren, Romero Folencio Henderson (Kathryn), Candida Mendeza Henderson and Matthew Howard Henderson (Lara); and her great grandchildren, Mendeza Henderson, Shanice Garcia, Zaraea Henderson, Emmalee Henderson, Gabriel Henderson and Violet Henderson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
