She was predeceased by: her husband William A. Ward, Sr.; her sons, William A. Ward, Jr. and Carl Clifford Ward, Sr. (Gladys); her grandson Carl C. Ward, Jr.; and her sister Marie Weldon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Phyllis Ward of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Gladys; her sister Hallie Whitaker; her granddaughters, Kimberly Ward of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dayna Morris of Salisbury, Maryland and Carmen Williams (Linwood) of Monticello; and her great grandchildren, Douglas, Kayla, Gia, Dominique, Ashley, Alyssa, Amber and Aaron. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
