She was predeceased by: her parents, Huston Hobbs and Irene Hobbs (Gilliam); her husband George Burgess; and her stepbrother Charles Hobbs. She is survived by: her children, Syreeta Burgess of Virginia and Leon Burgess of South Carolina; and her siblings, Carlene Hobbs, David Hobbs, Loucinda Hobbs, James Hobbs, Carolyn Cerdan, Geraldine Hobbs and Belinda Prevail. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oliver H. Bair Funeral Home (8500 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082).
