It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon G. Canfield of Wyalusing, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Canfield and Hazel Bates Canfield; his siblings, Claudia Canfield, Edward Canfield and Jeanetta Wells; and his nephew Mitchell Winters.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Ashley; his children, Leslie Taylor (Morgan) of Wyalusing, PA and Keegan Canfield (Ashley) of Wysox, PA; his grandchildren, Sierra Peterson of Ulster, PA, Jacob Canfield of Cherry Point, NC, Brennan Canfield of Lackland, TX, Aislynn of Wysox, PA, Kolten of Wysox, PA, Avery of Wysox, PA, Esmae Canfield of Wysox, PA and Alyssa Carrington of Warren Center, PA; his great grandchildren, Taigan and Emberly Owen of Laceyville, PA.; and his siblings, Virginia Bell (Joe) of Lake Carey, PA, Duane Canfield of Moxie, PA and Leila Steele (Alison) of Greene, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
