She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Kunkle and Elizabeth Barnhart Kunkle; her husband Calvin L. Shaffer; her sisters, Marion Stewart and Veda Woodruff; and her daughter-in-law Vanessa Shaffer.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Shaffer of Taylorville and Alan Shaffer of Wilton Manors, FL; her grandsons, Ricky Shaffer (Colleen) of Taylorville and Calvin Shaffer of Taylorville; and her great grandchildren, Zach of Taylorville, Isaac of Taylorville, Noah of Taylorville, Ethan of Taylorville and Matthew Shaffer of Taylorville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
