She was predeceased by: her father Stanley Herman; her husband Donald J. DeWitt of Jenningsville, PA; her sons-in-law, Roy C. Preston and James D. Jones; her great grandchild Collin Burton; her siblings, Paul Herman (Margaret), Carlton Herman (Mildred), Clifford Herman, Hollis Herman (Jean), Shirley Hartman (Art) and Marie Jenner; and her sister-in-law Catherine (Paul Deubler).
She is survived by: her son Dennis A.; her daughter-in-law Peggy DeWitt of Estero, FL; her daughters, Nancy L. Preston of Herrickville, PA and Sharon A. Jones of Lawton, PA; her grandchildren, Brenda and Timothy Ferguson of Herrickville, PA; and her daughters, Michelle (Rick Simonds), Shana Kamarauskas (Jason) of Lawton, PA and Morgin Jones of Lawton, PA. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
