He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Allen and Clorinda Allen (Peduto); his former wife Sandra Ellingswood Allen of Lancaster; and his niece Lynn Schrieber. He is survived by: his wife Thelma; his sisters, Ann Schrieber, Rose Boito and Virginia Graham; his stepchildren, Annette Cook (Eric), Matthew Rineer (Patricia), Adam Bonanno (Carrie), Nadine Fredo (Scott) and Katie Dennes (Joseph); and also Saint Anthony Padua Parish. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (501 E Orange St, Lancaster, PA 17602). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the building fund of Saint Anthony Padua Parish at 501 East Orange St. Lancaster.
