He was predeceased by: his parents, Opie Hamrick and Hazel Hamrick (Hartwell); and his siblings, Jack, Jerry, Gloria, Sue and Don.
He is survived by: his wife Julia Ann Hamrick (McKinney); his children, James Jr. (Theresa) of Lebanon, OH and Jan Winters of East Greenville; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Sarah, Grace, Morgan and Meadow; and his great grandchild Hadley.
