He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Shrum, and Bessie Shrum, Sr. (Dickson); and his siblings, Nancy Christopher, Sally Smith, Peggy Dempsey, Cathy Ehrman, James Shrum and Tom Shrum.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Shrum (Milligan); his daughters, Amy Riley of Worthington, Pamela Wagner (Charles) of Ford City and Mary Ellen Kilgore (Brent Sr.) of Worthington; his grandchildren, John (Chelsee), Jesse, William, Tanner and Colt; his great grandchildren, Rowan and Keegan; and his sister Helen Shrum of Newport News, VA.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 9:00 AM. A prayer was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Jeff Mantini Funeral Home (701 6th Ave, Ford City, PA 16226). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
