With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kay Karole Wharton (Worthington, Pennsylvania), born in Butler, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 19, 2020 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence "Bud" Gilkey Jr. and Alberta Yost Gilkey; her husband David Wharton; and her siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Wharton, William F. Wharton and Richard R. Love.
She is survived by: her sisters, Rev. Barbara E. Love of Butler, PA and Kathryn Gilkey of Butler, PA; and her brother-in-law Francis M. Wharton of Centreville, MD. She is also survived by four nieces; four nephews, and a number of great nieces and great nephews.
