He was predeceased by: his siblings, Robert V. Hooks and Elizabeth Hooks (Libby). He is survived by: his wife Janet Hooks (Peat); his children, Lorraine Turberville (Dan) of Worthington, Andrea McDonald (James) of Pensacola, FL and Chauncey Hooks Jr. (Carisa) of Marshall, N. C.; his grandchildren, Lauren, Marie, Eli Hooks and Braden Turberville; and his sisters, Lois Beckwith of Palm Coast, FL and Vera Miller of Kittanning.
