We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Eleanor Aspen of Worcester, Pennsylvania, born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John E. Aspen; and her parents, Ralph Shaffer and Georgia Shaffer (Burd). She is survived by: her sister Sally; her sister-in-law Dorothy Shaffer of Uniontown; and her brother Tom Shaffer. She is also survived by her nieces and 4 nephews.
Blessed with a strong constitution, though over 100 years old at the time, Eleanor even survived Covid (twice) and pneumonia, not seeing a day in the hospital her entire twenty years at Meadowood.
