He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. Sanders Sr. (Soupy) and Velma Williams Sanders; and his granddaughters, Danielle Sanders and Carriejo Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lehman (Sissy); his children, Joseph L Sanders III (Julie), Angela Probst (Brian), Mary Jo Williamson (J. Michael) and Steven Sanders (Dawn); his grandchildren, Kyle Probst (Jessica), Brittany Jo Phoenix (Andrew), Jessica Servano (Steven), Joseph L. Sanders IV (Sierra), Steven Sanders Jr. (Kaela), Hannah Headdings (Kyle) and Wyatt Sanders (Elizabeth); and his siblings, Margaret Brungard (Peg), Fred Sanders (Denny), Richard Sanders, Debbie Rayls, Leora Reeder, Deb Crust, Thomas Sanders, William Sanders, Sam Sanders, David Sanders, Joan Miller, Janet Seyler, Delores Sanders and Sue Caprio.
The family will provide the flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Lock Haven Catholic School, 311 W. Water St. Lock Haven, PA 17745, Holy Spirit Parish for the upkeeping of the chapel at St. Agnes Catholic Cemetery 3 E.
