It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Askins (Woodward, Pennsylvania), born in Mackeyville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 24, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his stepchildren, Donald "Chet" Askins of Lock Haven, John Askins of New Jersey, Rickie Beck (Terry) of Lock Haven, Mary Ferree (Curt) of Lock Haven, Brenda Coleman of Jersey Shore and Wanda Kramer of Avis; his sister Faye Condo of Mill Hall; his stepgrandchildren, Misty, Dawn Marie, Heather, Dustin, Isabella, Josh, Lori, Kelly, Curtis, Jess, Ron, Jr. and Wilbur, Jr.; his mother Anna "Annie" M. Klinefelter Askins; his stepfather Harold "Punk" McGlinsey; his daughter Cindy "Sin" Heimer; his granddaughter Mindy Confer; and his siblings, Jesse, Dale, Gordon, Walter, George, Clair Askins, Pearl Calhoun and Helen Harrow. He was also cherished by many great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in Chip's name may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation through the funeral home.
