She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Heaney and Mary Heaney (O'Gorman); her sister Nancy M.; her brother-in-law John Dougherty; and her aunts, Margie Needleman (Joe) and Catherine Fedullo (Joe).

She is survived by: her nephew John J. Dougherty (Melissa); her nieces, Bridget Hoffman (Kerry), Margaret Arndt (Garry), Colleen Falkenstein (Mike) and Mary Dougherty; and her close friend Duke. She is also survived by 9 great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be sent to American Cancer Assoc., 1626 Locust St, Philadelphia, PA. 19103 or Providence Animal Center, 555 Sandy Bank Rd., Media, PA 19063.
