He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Ward McCracken and Margaret McCracken (Kyler); his wife Nina Moore; his daughter Janet Hansard; and his siblings, Adeline Frelin, Henrietta Smay, Arnold, David, Ardell, Leroy, Donald, Duane, Jimmy and Robert McCracken.
He is survived by: his children, Ward H. McCracken Jr. (Tina) of Erie, David "Mike" McCracken (Verlee) of Woodland, Carolyn Schenk (John), Nina "Wezie" Adams (Ted) of Clearfield, Edward McCracken (Carolyn) of Jackson, CA, Chris McCracken (Tracey) of Curwensville, Joan Castillo of Clearfield, Amy Larson (Tom) of Philipsburg, Kevin McCracken of Wellsboro and Eric McCracken (Beth) of Clearfield; and his siblings, Earl McCracken (Penny) and Peggy Abrino. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren.
