He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Gearhart and Mina A. Gearhart (Womer); and his son John Walter Gearhart. He is survived by: his children, David J. Gearhart (Jerilyn) of Hebron, IN and Gwendolyn Buck (Rodney) of Pinetop; his sister-in-law Rev. Gay Ann Gearhart of Unityville, PA; his grandchildren, Christopher Gearhart (Amanda), Elizabeth Glica (Brendan), Travis Gearhart, Sierra Dice (Greg), Austin Gearhart, Hillary Wygonik (Adam) and Weston Buck; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin Gearhart, Timothy Gearhart, Gage Lee Gearhart, Serenity Gearhart, Jonathan Dice, Nathaniel Dice, Carson Dice and Madison Glica.
