She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur G. Mellinger, II and Leah G. (Shull); her children, Michael R. Phillips and Carol N. Palmer; and her sisters, Virginia Corbin and Donna Kachel.
She is survived by: her husband James Eyrich; her children, Anne Y. Sam, Cynthia Weir, Susan Templin and David Eyrich; and her brothers, Arthur G. Mellinger, III and James S. Mellinger. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
