It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George W. Painter Jr. of Womelsdorf, Pennsylvania, born in Hyde Park, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 22, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Erika P. Painter (Fricker); his parents, George W. Painter and Bertha Painter (Swaverly); his son George W. Painter, III; and his sister Betty Kissinger.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald C. Painter (Debe), James R. Painter (Diane), Cheri R. Steeves, Carole M. Tischler (Tom Kirlin) and Karen L. (Winfried Dicker); and his sisters, Darlene Kauffman, Georgine Stehman, Sinking Spring, Sallyann Williams and Riverview Park. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
