With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bruce R. Gensemer of Womelsdorf, Pennsylvania, born in Reading, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2024 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wray G. Gensemer (Miller) and LeRoy R. Gensemer; and his brother Jan Gensemer. He is survived by: his wife Charmaine M. Gensemer; his stepchildren, Kristin Snyder (William Lesewski) and Brent Shirk (Renee Shirk) of Chesnee, SC; his grandchildren, Brittany, Kyle, Justin, Morgan and Michael; his great grandchildren, Harper and Bryce; and his siblings, Walter R. Gensemer, Jay G. Gensemer, Donna Groff and Dean Gensemer.
Viewing was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Walbert Funeral Home & Crematory (14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood, PA 19522). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
