It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold A. Walter of Winfield, Pennsylvania, born in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 15, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Harold may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Harold touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold B. Walter and Anna E. Walter (Slear); and his grandson Michael Austin. He is survived by: his wife Joyce J. Johnson; his children, William J. Walter (Mei), Philadelphia, Phyllis E. Marquette of Lewisburg, Kenneth E. Austin of Williamsport, Kim K. Satteson (Mark) of Lewisburg, Lisa M. Brouse (Ray) of Milton and Christopher A. Crouse (Wendy) of Altoona; and his sister Shirley Peters (Ronald) of Manheim. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
