I met him prior to a trip I made to France during which I planned to visit the American Military Cemetery at Colleville sur Mer in France. I had learned that his natural father, Walter Luther Boyer was buried there, Plot H, Row 5, Grave 16. A frequent traveler to France, I have visited the gravesite on several occasions, always leaving a floral tribute. I salute both Walter Boyers' service to our country. Janice Botterbusch”
