He was predeceased by: his parent Douglas B.; and his sister Peggy Joan MacTavish. He is survived by: his spouse Beth M. MacTavish (Arnold); his parent Ruth I. MacTavish (Shockey); his children, Douglas S. MacTavish of Hagerstown, Dawne Nalley and Lisa M. MacTavish; his grandchildren, Zach, Nathaniel, Hannah, Keith, Ben and Sadie; and his former wife Diane MacTavish (Howard).
