He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel R. Lyons and Carrie C. Weckesser Lyons; his wife Anna Marie "Chick" Lyons; and his siblings, Anna Daneker, Virginia Holbrook and John Lyons.
He is survived by: his children, Melodee Hill (Richard), Eugene Lyons (Debbie), Jeffrey Lyons (Colleen), Russell Lyons (Peggy Gaegler) and Jerry Lyons (Missey); his grandchildren, Alex Hill (Chelsey Keding), Andrew Hill (Nikki), Stacey Floam (Josh), Rachel Lyons, Jeffrey Lyons, Jr. (Katie) and Emerson Lyons (Catherine); his great grandchild Lyric Hill; his nieces, Jeane Debelius (Les) and Diane Neels (Ernest); and his friend Phyllis Williams.
