He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Heckman and Ida "Dot" Heckman (Murray); and his brothers, Ronald Heckman and Alfred. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Heckman (Edmonds); his children, Rick Heckman (Tammy) and Dr. Kristin Heckman; his grandchildren, Kloee, Niloahs and Hannah; and his siblings, Nancy Depsky, Linda McNitsky and David Heckman.
