She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Baer and Kathryn Baer (Hostetler); her husband Jack E. Powell of Windber; and her sons, Barry and Mark Powell.

She is survived by: her son Brian L. Powell; her grandchildren, Kristen, Erin, Cara, Kenneth, Justin, James and Jenna; her great grandchildren, Lincoln, Kennedy, Madison and Miles; and her siblings, Gary (Peggy) and Mabel Ann DeAmaral. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
