He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Jr. Buzzard and Ruth Buzzard (Foltz); his sister Darlene Chandler (Buzzard); his father-in-law Walter Angus; and his brothers-in-law, Daniel Angus, John "Jack" Horten and David Empfield.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Buzzard (Angus); his children, William C., Dana Peruso (William) and Amy Stem (Steve); his grandchildren, Samantha Peruso, William C. Buzzard V (Kyndra), Danielle Owens (John), Carley Buzzard, Stephanie Slack and Kayla Thomas; his siblings, Thomasene Neary (William) and DeVoy Horten; his mother-in-law Irene Angus; and his sisters-in-law, Suzann Risch (Joseph), Diana Empfield and Audrey Dubovecky. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
