He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Knecht and Catherine Knecht (Casper); and his siblings, Stephen Knecht and Carolyn Coward. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Custer; his sons, Michael, Tracy Knecht, Robert and Apryl Knecht; his grandchildren, Nathan, Mitchell, Nicholas and Autumn Knecht (Mitchell Miesco); his great grandchild Aloniah Miesco; and his sister Catherine Pertko (Bruce).
