She was predeceased by: her father Regis Newcomer; and her brother-in-law Jack Dove. She is survived by: her husband Gary Mihalko Sr.; her son Gary Mihalko Jr. (Gemma); her sister Regina (Elmer "Snubby" Burket); and her brother-in-law Lindsay Mihalko (Barb). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Although Alzheimer's took away her memory and some physical movements she will always be remembered by her family who loved her dearly.
