Ruth Ann Lees Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Ann Lees of Windber, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 28, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Surkosky and Martha Surkosky (Weaver); her son Jason; and her siblings, Robert, Donald, Richard and Mary Faye Surkosky.
She is survived by: her husband Richard E. Lees, Sr.; her children, Richard and E. Lees, Jr. (Hope Hayes); her siblings, Kimberly (Bill Minahan) and Matthew Lees (Destiny McCoy); her grandchildren, Camryn Lees, William, Andrew Minahan, Mikayla Hayes, Julia, John and Luke Woodley; and her sisters, Betty Plummer (Bill) and Sherry Berkey (Jeff).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center as a thanks for the 17 extra years we had with Ruth between her first cancer diagnosis and this one that took her home to God.
