He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Berkey and Mabel (Shaffer); his siblings, Milford Berkey, Joyce Berkey and Connie J. Edmison; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Cameron and Marla Marfizo.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Marfizo); his children, Jennifer (Craig Mikulsky) and Jeffrey (Erika); his grandchildren, Cameron Mikulsky, Caden Mikulsky, Cullen Mikulsky and Wyatt Berkey; his siblings, Gerald Berkey (Brenda), Norma Tremain (Robert), Imogene Willman, Ronald Berkey (Rhonda), Laura Cameron, Rodney Berkey (Nancy) and Sandy Law; and his siblings-in-law, William Marfizo (Angel), Rose Mary Gahagen (Gwynn) and Richard Marfizo.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home (1312 Graham Ave, Windber, PA 15963). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (2201 Graham Ave, Windber, PA 15963).
