He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Gipe Sr. and Doris (Roberts); and his brother Rick Lasko. He is survived by: his wife Viola M. Gipe; his sons, Robert E. Gipe III (Donna) of Windber and Keith A. Gipe (Jennifer) of Windber; his grandchildren, Matthew, Kyle, Dakota, Landan, Alec, Cassandra, Marinda and Mariah; and his siblings, Ron Lasko and Marijo Lasko. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
