We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2023, at the age of 88, Richard Paul Murtha of Windber, Pennsylvania, born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul K. Murtha and Nellie Marie Murtha (Stormer); and his siblings, Anthony Murtha, Paul Murtha and Sharon Balough.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Murtha (Campitell); his daughter Kelly Jean (Robert Statler); his grandson Ryan Statler; and his sisters, Donna Gallagher and Gayle Marie Weir. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
