He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Custer and Dora Custer; his son Garlan; and his brothers, Robert and Wayne.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda May of Windber; his children, Jeffrey (Kendra) of Appling, GA and Dorothy (Joseph Jankowski) of Port Charlotte; his grandchildren, Kathryn, Benjamin, McKenna, Joseph and Courtney; his great grandchildren, Nyla, Maverick and Max; and his sister Anita Pesarchic.
