It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred M. Babiak of Windber, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Merise and Susan Merise (Salley); her husband Andrew Babiak; her daughter Christine Barnosky; and her sisters, Flora Hollewa and Mary Ross.

She is survived by: her daughter Susan (William Siska); and her sister Virginia Merise-Kalister.
