We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2022, at the age of 90, Mary E. Slagle in Windber, Pennsylvania, born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Scaletta (Gigliotti) and Joseph R. Scaletta; her husband David Brockman Slagle; her daughter Kathleen; and her sisters, Anna Maria Mangus and Eva Lucie Gallucci.
She is survived by: her sons, David (Lorraine), Thomas (Sally), Joseph (Carol) and Westwood; her grandchildren, Katharine "Katie" Slagle R. N., Georgia, Krista Leigh Jones (Stu), Dr. Grant Slagle, Jonathan Slagle and Jenna Leigh Cox (Cody); her great grandchildren, Harper Leigh Jones, Archer David Jones and Stevie Leigh Cox; and her brother Samuel A. Scaletta of Johnstown. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
